Welcome to Velvet. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Velvet mobile application and related services.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Velvet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Velvet. You represent that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Service description
Velvet is an AI-powered conversation assistant that analyzes dating conversation screenshots and generates reply suggestions, conversation insights, and opening messages. AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes and should not be considered guaranteed advice or outcomes.
4. User content
You retain ownership of screenshots, messages, and other content you upload. You grant Velvet a limited license to process this content solely to provide the requested services.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- violate any law;
- upload unlawful or harmful content;
- interfere with the service;
- attempt unauthorized access;
- misuse AI-generated content to harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
6. AI disclaimer
AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate in some situations. You are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to use any generated content.
7. Subscriptions
Premium features are offered through the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the applicable app store. Velvet does not receive your payment card information.
8. Intellectual property
Velvet, its branding, software, and content are owned by Velvet or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the service except as permitted by law.
9. Privacy
Your use of Velvet is also governed by the Privacy Policy.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Velvet at any time.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Velvet is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Velvet and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
